Scoliosis is a potentially debilitating condition which could necessitate major surgery or even threaten life of someone afflicted with it if severe enough.  It is vital that this condition be caught early on.  Scoliosis mainly develops during developmental years and worsen drastically during growth spurt stage.  It is important that scoliosis be caught at mild stage where nonsurgical therapies will be more effective.

Those who are age of 5-8, once a year check up should do.  Those who are 9-15, every 6-9 months should be prudent.  Some states do yearly scoliosis screening for children at schools.  However, in California, screening is only done once in child's life time.  So it is up to parents to seek additional help.

We, at Advanced Chiropractic Clinic, are committed to improve situation at least locally.  For those parents who do not know how to perform screening, we will teach you.  Those who'd like to have their child checked for scoliosis, we will do so free of charge year round.  Those who have tested positive for scoliosis screening at school or at another doctor's office but have not had follow up for any reason, we will provide free full spine x-ray for confimration.

We are willing to do this for your child.  Parents, you have to do your part and have your children checked annually.  If you can assemble a group of more than 20 parents, we can put on a free "how-to" screening class for you.
